You can probably push it further. Our tank is like 14 gallons... I used to fill up when the reserve light turned on, but that's like only 11.5 gallons of fuel used. you can puch it another 40 miles probably... but don't blame me when you run out of gas!

Also, does anyone else think our fuel gauge is weird? 1/1, 1/2, R ...F/E are fine for me, but Toyota has to go and over engineer yet another thing lol.

yeah I'd probably average that if I lived much closer to sea-level too. I think I do pretty decent for being over a mile above sea-level. I average 350-380 out of a tank mainly highway...and 330ish when I run at least 50% of the tank on in-town driving. (oh and that is going from a full tank to just before the light comes on)

I think the 2.4L plant in our tC's does pretty good at balancing having a decent amount of hp/tq and gas mileage for what it is. Sure there are the little greenie puddle-jumpers out there that will put our tC's to shame in mileage...but they dont have nearly the same coolness factor either IMO :D

i got 417 last tank with about 90% highway driving and keeping it at 75 AC on only sometimes. I think that if i kept it lower lets say cruise control set to 65 id get 430-440

Driving from Maryland to Oregon taking interstate 90 through Montana I was getting 430 miles a tank. I have an auto and am lowered and have an AEM cai. I had the cruise control set about 5-10 mph over the speed limit and tried not to use the a/c too much. I could have pushed it a little further I think but in Northeastern Wyoming driving solo it probably wasn't such a good idea.
