and is there any way to make the alarm chirp when locked/unlocked?

It's already active from the dealer. After you switch the car off, the led on the window switch stays on for 15 secs. Assuming that you didn't open the door after you switch the car off. Its a delay thing like on the the higher end cars.

Once you open the door in that 15 secs, all power is lost and you would have to turn the key on to close the windows/sunroof.

You seriously think it's illegal in every country to drive without your seatbelt?....

6. how do i enable/disable the seatbelt reminder buzzer noise using the trip meter button?
to enable/disable that annoying seatbelt reminder buzzer, follow these steps using the trip meter button, but make sure you still buckle up!:

step 1 turn the key to the 'on' position. using the trip meter button, toggle the lcd until 'ODO' is displayed.
step 2 turn the key off. turn the key back to the 'on' position. within six seconds of doing so, press and hold the trip meter button for ten seconds. after ten seconds, buckle the driver's side seatbelt.
step 3 the buzzer by default is set to on. once you've held the trip meter button for ten seconds and then buckled the driver's side seatbelt, the lcd will then disply 'b-OFF', telling you that the buzzer is now turned off. you can now let go of the trip meter button. if pressed again in this mode, you will set the buzzer back to on, 'b-ON'.
*note* if the battery or combination meter is disconnected, you will have to follow the procedure again.

It should just be a standard toyota oil filter that, if not too hot you could undue with your hands, but there are adjustable wrenches and tools that work for many different styles of oil filters...Big or small should do em all..Autozone should have something

Thats good info. A lot of it was obvious stuff but some things probably would've taken a while to figure out.

Default s-off on?

Went to go turn off my seat belt buzzer and noticed that when I didn't do it right the first time the lcd display read s-off s-on. What does that exactly mean? Anyone help me on this?

might be that you turned off the sweep function that happens when you turn the key on and all the needles peak and then zero out before they go to where the are supposed to be.
