We went over this with my claim agent. SFarm informed me that MN doesn't require 'salvaged title' marks on the main title or on their database. It would probably just have the claim and damages.

I asked if I got it fixed if it would affect my coverage. Nothing would change. If an accident happens in the future they just fix it like usual. I wanted to make sure that SFarm would fix it. I dunno? SFarm has always treated my family well.

I also would like to keep the vehicle. If it were up to me I'd have SFarm fix the car and I pay my dedeuctable but that didn't happen. If this damage were on an older jalopy I wouldn't give a damn but it's on my newer DD.

Yeah I know. I was waiting to claim this since last July and this couldn't have been a better time. Like I said I just wanted to rant more than anything.

It's easy to say to just fugg my DD but honestly. If this happend to your tC could you look at it the same way?

We'd go through the same process. I pay my deductable and find a shop. Yeah we went over it w/ my claim agent over and over again just to make sure what he said was what he meant.

SFarm would insure my car just like before because the damage was just cosmetic.

I'd drive it like the ***** it is! I would probably just care less about body damage but I will still take care of it like it was brand new! Wax my hail damage and all that.

I wish it was hailing nickles. That would help with payments for repair...

If you do decide to keep it, you could try the dry ice trick on it and see how many, if any, it takes out.

I can't remember if I've stated it in this post but in the youtube vid I mentioned that it happened last July of '07...

No need for insurance fraud. I believe in karma...

Sifu,

I think you should keep the car the way it is and dd it, and use the the 8k for a down payment on the car of your choice. (g35, 350z, is250, 328i..ect)
