My car got Keyed last night - any ideas on repair? *pics*
So last night, I parked in my lit garage, and noticed a double streak scratch on the driver's side. I thought maybe someone slid something sharp along it by accident, so I walked to the passenger side only to find every panel scratched/keyed. Maybe a cart even
Any one have any good ideas on how to fix this? The scratches are primer-deep, and you can feel the scratches with your finger.

updated with pics. Yeah, insurance would be picking this up... I just wanted your feedback on whether or not there is a cheap fix. I want to avoid repainting because it depreciates the car's value, way too much.

What's in the background of one of the photos? Is that a gold civic?? It was probably that ____er!!
Nah, I'm just playing.
But sorry to hear that man. I WOULD NEVER do that to anyone. It's just one of those off limits things. Now tire slashings.... OH OH.. sorry. Off subject.
I think your best bet is to bite the bullet and just have it repainted. A cheap fix will be just what it says... a cheap fix.
I had my rear bumper repainted about two weeks ago. You can't tell anything was ever wrong with it!

Same thing happened to me, onlt it was deeper and longer! MAKES ME TRULY MAD EVERY TIME I SEE IT!!! I hope you catch the f ucker and scratch his ***** with keys. Then... forget it. People will never learn to respect others things. To truly fix it, I say repaint.

Seeing this makes me want to makes me want to put hidden cameras on my car, that are triggered off motion sensors. Man would I love to see the face of these sh*t heads when you show up to their house.

They have camera's like that. I thought of investing into some also. Nokia actually makes one that sends you an email/MM message when there is motion...
so no one thinks I can fix this? Does the paint shop repaint the entire panel, or just the scratch area? I dont want an entire repainting...

I promise if you take it to a reputable shop you'll never know anything ever happened and I really don't think the value will suffer. Not any more than if they COULD just fix the scratch.
Reputable body shops have not only color keys to what your cars color is, but then books on different faded conditions so that they can match it to EXACTLY your color even if it has changed just slightly from when you first bought it. (From the Sun, etc.)
It's the best way. Any other way won't be the same as new.

Meguiar's Scratch-X. Plan on spending 30 minutes to an hour on each panel, buffing and repeatedly adding more scratch-x by hand.
Or, you can take it to a detail shop and see what they can do.
What kind of insurance do you have on the car? Most insurance companies only want to provide full coverage on newer cars. So, you may not have to pay for it.
You might just be able to get it repainted.
