maybe you should ask them for a rimjob...haha, nah, thats just sick. i would try to get the old rim, because of your time you wasted to drive there again...maybe you can get some free oil changes, go for the donuts if all else fails

well the dealer called me today to tell me my car was ready
while i was on the phone I told him i had purchased the scion security from a toyota dealer online and I asked him to install it for free for all the aggravation and he said sure. So tonight i have my car back fixed( from there accident) all washed and waxed, with scion security system installed, and 3 toyota oil filters on the back seat. he had said I coild have the old rim but it wasnt in the hatch like he said so I'll call them back in the morning. I guess I cant complain about them at all, I know it was an accident but they really made good for it. The dealership is Toyota of Dartmouth in Dartmouth MA Service guys name was Wayne

Definitely thank them for their extra effort. It sounds like they treated you more than fair and they should definitely get a thank you card. Very nice of them to do that.

Reminds me of when my local mechanic made a mistake of not tightening my lugnuts and it tore one of my new chrome wheels up. They replaced it for me without a problem and I still used them since they are very good for what they do with the exception of that one time.

Sound like you've found a good dealer... it's cool that they made it right with you without any hassle.

thanks to the dealer. most places wouldn't have told you, or would have given you the run around. if you find a place that'll do that, i'd make a habit of servicing there. i've had a lot of bad experiences at dealers, but i finally found one that is straightforward and honest, and i use them exclusively now.
