My tC has officially been replaced. Finally.

Because this site is hosted by Internet Brands which happens to be the biggest POS provider on the internet. Their PHP scripting manages to capture tags of everything irrelevant in a thread. I'm sure if you said Stan another 20 times, although completely irrelevant it will become a tag.

I know how the tagging works, but none of those things were mentioned lol. WRX has been mentioned a few billion times in this thread, and no tag.

Because of Internet Brands....so easy a caveman can do it...no wait...cavemen did do it.

Soon. These tires were completely unexpected and I have to pay two car insurance bills for the next 3 months (tC/Accord). Once I sell my tC and Accord, and get my tax return, I'll have some play money. Odds are though, it's probably going to go into paying off the car lol.
I still haven't even put my mudflaps on .

Subaru with payments > Scion with payments.
My payments aren't much more than the tC. It's a matter of 6.9% and $0 down on the tC vs 3.9% and $6000 down on the Subaru lol. All I have to say, is that Pure Pricing blows.

Then again I don't think there is a whole lot out there for the new wrx really worth buying lol. I know the spring rates on aftermarket springs are geared toward the 08 models which I have heard causes some problems with the 09+ so even then I would almost have to go coils (or STi suspension)
My tC is getting paid off by the end of the month so I'm gonna enjoy no car payents for awhile before I buy a new car.

It's a nice looking car. I would buy it for my wife and keep my Scion TC. I would not get it in red however, I would buy it in silver or grey metallic. We have a Taurus now and it is geting old with 123,000 miles on it. All it has needed was a generator. Too bad it does not come in a 2 door coupe. Oh well, we have kids. If you put leather in your TC it will make you want to keep alot longer. Mine is a 2006 with 57,000 miles on it and no rattles yet. You can't beat a car built in Japan. I still have my 2006 Boxter with 16,000 miles on it, any takers? Stan
HAHAHA. ooooh stan.

^^Just paid mine off. Feels the best when that day of the month comes around and you don't have to send the bank (TFS) all your money. Now only if it were possible to pay insurance off!

lol true..I'm just saying if I was in your position I would rather pay the car off before I start doing any serious modding. Like you I would probably get an exhaust..I wouldn't even bother with the accessport cause here in SoCal you can't really come across anything higher than 91 octane.

Yeah, there is a shop that sells tunes for 91, 93, 94, and 100 octane.
I was running 89 in the car for a tank, and it felt fine, just had less power.

Cobb actually makes a Stage 1 tune, specifically for Cali.
Stage1 ACN91 Octane Stage1 designed specifically for AZ/CA/NV 91 Octane. +13.7% HP / +18.2% lb. ft
Nowhere near the gains of the Stage 2 93 octane, but it's still a nice chunk of extra power. That's still a nice 35-50hp gain (depending on how much the WRX really makes).

Wow I completely overlooked this one, they have a Stage 2 for 91 octane also. It's basically the same power gains as the Stage 1 93 octane. It's roughly 310-330HP @ the crank.
Stage2 ACN91 Octane Stage2 designed specifically for AZ/CA/NV 91 Octane. Requires turboback exhaust. +16.7% HP / +24% lb. ft
