need answer fast about mid pipe

alright, you need to do some research so that you will actually know what you are doing when it comes to modifying your car.
because it sounds like you just want to all the shiny expensive parts you can afford without even knowing what they are for.
alright, your car's exhaust system evaucuates exhaust gases from the engine to the atmosphere.
the more efficient this system is, the easier it is for your car to operate.
now, the ideal goal for exhaust is to be as straight as possible, with minimal flow restricting bends and pollution reducing components like catalytic convertors.
and you want the piping to be a proper diameter to maximize exhaust gas velocity.
now, at lower rpms, smaller exhaust helps create more torque, but then at higher rpms, it restricts horsepower. so you need a balance in your exhaust system that will optimize exhaust gas velocity for both worlds.
so those stupid riced out loud civics with giant fart cannons out the back are actually losing more hp than they gain when they put those huge 3 inch exhaust systems on their cars.
now, if you are doing mid-pipe and axel back exhaust, you will reduce your back pressure a bit, but not completely. you will still have your stock header which has the primary catalytic convertor, and stock crush bent s-pipe that will have some back pressure. but since the stock mid-pipe has a small catalytic convertor and the axelback muffler is designed for sound supression, you will reduce some back pressure.
what does that all mean, you will lose some low end torque in the power band, but gain some horsepower towards redline.
now, if there is any part of this you did not understand, please spend some time at wikipedia.org, howstuffworks.com, www.ask.com, searching scion life and so on and so forth.
