That is a bummer , I have side current bags and forced induction is on the books. Keep the ideas coming, you’re on the right track with the design options that you’re proposing. Factory fit with matching color options, not something other companies are offering and black ABS is not very attractive.

Yeah, if the color/fabric matched that would be sexy... I'd prolly be more likely to buy a 2-pod however, but if a 3-pod is my only choice i guess it'll have to do.

I would make the pod to fit 2 1/16" gauges which is your most common gauge on the market... I know that we will be unable to match the carpet but I am sure we can have it colored matched very very close that you couldn't tell.

bump

CC, I think the interest is here. Especially with the turbo kits coming out. (I can relate! ) So, my requests are: 3 pods cool - could it have matching (or close) *fabric* on it? Or is that something that I'd have to just take to an upholstery place?

Thanks!!

Well if I said I did this all on my own, I would be lying. MAJOR THANKS to Scion Corp. Scion shipped out a factory A-pillar today and it should arrive to our development center in 2-3 days. At that time it will take about 2-3 weeks for us to find out what options are available in the production. I have confirmed at this time we will NOT be able to offer it in the factory fabic but should be able to color match it.

If the fabric matches I would definetly get it to go with the supercharger!

Is it going to be textured plastic then?

You want analog readout just because your brain reacts faster to an arrow on a speed dial rather then a set of numbers. When you are going fast and want to check one of the temps or any other stats, that difference in perception makes a lot of difference. Other then that it is totally up to you if you get it for looks. There is nothing stupid about digital readouts.

Are you only gonna make a triple gauge pod? I would be really intrested in a dual gauge pod

did you guys notice this, "The Pillar Pod would be a complete replacement and would be Dupont matched to the same color as the other pillars within the car." i didn't know that dupont made anything other than paint, i thought not fabric came from them.

As mentioned... Color matched...we will not be able to do these in fabric... no prices yet and this item will only be a triple gauge pod

Thanks
James
