At the tail end of the NHRA Sport Compact series, Nitto Tire and sponsored driver, Kenny Tran are only a few points out of first place in the Hot Rod class. We followed Kenny as he prepares his Nitto Tire Scion tC for the last two races and created video episodes of the journey.

i find it funny that they call it a TC. They can put any body on it they want and call it that (yes I know it's because it's who sponsored the car I just find it comical)

 

You know... dont get me wrong, I love what kenny is doing with the tC, and one of the perks of living about 5 miles from the shop is that I have gotten to see it and watch it run on the dyno .. but seriously.. Jotch is the most overpriced shop ever. On top of making the "car of the year" they also need to be named "most expensive shop of the year". They are some great guys, and there is no doubt that they know their stuff inside and out, but its bad when you know they are rocking a 100% + mark up on alot of stuff...

Well, that's certainly not true because we do offer price match with any shops in the local area. We just cannot compete with Ebay and I hope you will understand.Now our labor rate is 85.00/hour, you will find that at most shop also. Give us a chance next time and just ask for Tony or myself and we'll take care of it.

 

Sounds pretty standard to me.

Love the car btw Kenny! I was lucky enought to see the street tC before when still blue at the Detroit Auto Show in the Scion booth. Everything on the car was just sooo impressive. I just stared at it for like an hour.

Last time I was in the DFW area I made plans to swing by Jotech, I eneded up not going due to an hour drive to get there....I was really busy but I wish I would have gone.....One of the worst mistakes of my life...
