Default No more tC. BYE BYE, Ill miss you!!!

I know I havent been here in awhile but thats because I have been so busy with work.

Anyways, I decided to trade in the tC last week. Its an awesome car that I loved, Ijust cannot justify 3 car payments (wifes car too). It was one of the best cars ive ever owned, handeled like a dream (tien SSPs) and sounded awesome inside (Check profile for all the stuff I had in it).

I just needed something that was more functional. I needed to be able to tow toys and have room for a baby seat for the future and something to pull my landscape trailer.

So I bought a 2003 F-250 Superduty Diesel Crew Cab Short bed. It s quite a bit bigger but man is it nice to have some power, hehe. I tuned it up a TAD so im at about 310HP and 670lbs of torque. Its a monster!Surprisingly decent MPG but its a litter higher than half of what I was getting from the tC. Not bad .The truck is used for towing my landscape trailer so wish me luck!

Anyways, The dealer let me take both cars home so I could take out all the stuff I had in the tC. 2.5 days later its all out. Check the classifieds for a few items im selling.

Well here are some pics, sorry for the dark pics, im just not used to it getting dark so fast, haha

Thanks for all the memories!

Ill still be poping in from time to time. In the spring I may get back to work and make more sub boxes.

Bye Bye :D

Wow. I sure hope you actually have a need for that truck. All the reasons you listed could have been met by a much smaller and much more efficient truck. It really bothers me when people buy gigantic trucks "for the hell of it" (ie, just about every Hummer owner). We're in an energy crisis, hell energy is a major reason we are at such odds with the Middle East and why our soldiers are dying over there. I'm always "honored" to pay 2 to 3 bucks per gallon of gas so my fellow Americans can drive gigantic beasts they don't need whatsoever.

Thanks for the lecture buddy. Save it. I do have a reason and if you read my post you would have seen it. A small truck is not capable of towing a 24ft trailer weighing 10000#+.

We are not in an energy crisis, there is so much oil is retarded. its companies like OPEC and our goverement that is creating the feeling of a cirsis. Plus China is using more oil than ever before.

My brother is a soldier for the army and fought over in iraq for over a year is most likely returning back there soon. He doesnt seem to have a problem.

you watch way too much fox news.

A superduty diesel? Fantastic. I'd've pounced on you had you gotten a full size or plus size gasoline truck. Sounds like you got a pretty good handle on life; best of luck in the future!

Damn Harmonic you sold your Tc ??!?!?

Well it seems like you need a trade for many reasons, but all good of course. That truck is fkn huge !!! And deisel ?? Thats to much truck for my type of taste. But congrats. Maybe SE will give you call to tow us out of a ditch or something.

BTW , are you putting your stock head unit back in there ? Or are you just leaving it with no radio ? The dealer let you do that ?

Thanks rols, yeah its gone and yes this is a big truck!

The tc is back to stock. took along time but its stock, except for the headliner.

Call me anytime if you need a tow! I still have my SE stickers, maybe one will make its way on the truck, lol
