Noise In Front End!!!!!!!!!

Default Noise In Front End!!!!!!!!!

WATS UP EVERYONE!!!!! ITS UR BOY SAINT HERE. IVE BEEN HAVING THIS ISSUE WITH A THUMPING NOISE WHILE DRIVING, SOUNDS LIKE I HAVE A FLAT TIRE OR MY WHEELS LOOSE. UNFORTUNETLY IS NIETHER ONE. I CHECKED ALL THE TIRE PRESSURES....... ITS GOOD- I CHECKED THE LUGS.......... ALL NICE & TIGHT. SEEMS TO BE COMING FROM THE FRONT END, NOT QUITE SURE YET BUT ILL GET TO THE BOTTOM OF IT. NEXT I GOTTA CHECK IF ITS A POSSIBLE BENT RIM. IT EVEN HEAR A CRUNCH SOUND WHEN I MAKE SHARP TURNS. I WOULD NEVER BEAT ON MY BABY SO I DONT KNOW WAT THE HELL IT IS!!!!!!!!!!! BUT IF ANY ONE HAS ANY CLUE ON THIS LET ME KNOW. ITS BUGGIN THE ISH OUT OF ME.

If it is a constant thump while rolling, you could have a flat spot in a tire. Did it sit for more than a few days in the cold? that will sometimes do it.

As far as checking the front end, you can jack it up and check for play in the tie rods and other front end parts and inspect your suspension parts for damage or failure.

Post up what you find with details and maybe we can help you get to the bottom of it. If it is under warranty and there is no obvious signs of damage, you can take it in and have them check it out as well.

honestly i think i might have a clue, yeah it could be a strut but did anyone think about a wheel bearing!!!!!! ill see when i bring it to the dealer next week. u know

A wheel bearing shouldn't be making a cracking noise. A wheel bearing will "roar" as the car goes faster. And as you go faster, the "roaring" sound will get louder. I broke the wheel bearing almost a year ago... along with a lot of other suspension parts lol. As long as you didn't crash you should be covered under warranty.
