I agree with lowering it, but i heard that your tires wear faster if you do this. Is this true? Plus I live out in the country where the roads are not nice lol. I hope there is more than 3 tC specs out there...it is kinda nice that it is rare though.

I guess it does because everyone at the dealership was like that when I bought mine back in october. At least they gave me the premium pioneer system, i love it.

btw. The only time u wear your tires faster is if you don't get an alignment. If you get a drop, and get it aligned 2 weeks later you should be fine.

Nice tc. So why did you decide to go with the injen exhaust? Custom is way cheaper and if you do it right it can be better. About lowering it, I heard even after the alignment they wear faster. I donno though.

The only reason I think they would wear out faster is because when you lower it, you get better handling, so people take turns at a faster speed, thus causing uneven wear.

If you don't change your driving style after you lower it, you should be ok

Thanks. I Decided to go with an Injen just because I like the look and the sound. No real reason, i'm not gona BS and say its for the power cuz com'on, its an exhaust. I've thought about doing I/H/E but I decided not to as it'd be a complete waste when I get the turbo, which will probably be in about a year. Sooner if I can manage to get 2 good paying jobs, later if I can only manage one. Once I get the turbo I'll probably wind up going with a Custom 3" pipe or something. Not sure yet.

Btw. You definitely take corners faster when u get a drop. I feel like I take corners normally but I get told I take corners as if the cops are on my tail all the time by friends and family. . Man let me tell you. Nothing like being able to make your car throw you against the door and still be able to hold its line

I don't have any pictures of when it was stock, but here is how it sits currently.

I got it back in May of 2007, and now has 10k miles. Only mods as of now is TRD springs (still settling and getting lower) & shocks, and 18" Gramlights (ray lugs, offset 48+ w/225-40 kumho ast tires).

Defiantly still have alot coming in for this car...
