i like the Spec TC headlight black instead of the Chrome

 

Not yet... from all of the complaints on the forums about sqeaks and rattles coming from the sunroofs, I'm kinda glad that I have the Spec and I don't get those rattles.

Don't get me wrong, I love having a sunroof, one of my previous rides had a great sunroof with no rattles or leaks and it was awesome... but from what I hear about the tC's sunroof, I think the Spec turned out to be a better choice.

The visual differences between a base and Spec are minimal and its almost impossible to tell when modified...what is there to watch???

 

I'm actually looking for more pics of the black rimmed headlights. I might order a set from trd sparks soon.

 

Just paint the trim rings and it'll look the same for less.

 

I don't want to bake and rig it. Rather just spend the cash then sell the old ones.

 

 

ya ive seen some with the hubs on them and that means they are the tc spec? what is the differences? cost? etc...

 

Cost. And they come with less. Some people like myself could careless about the stuff they took out and would rather save the money.

i have a spec,
only thing i ever notice is hubcaps and how the sunroof dosnt open.
..dont mind the sunroof not opening (of course if it would open.. id open it)..wasnt worth the extra money to me.

I wish I would have done a bit of research before buying mine and found out there was a spec version. I would have bought that and saved a few thousand. I alreayd bought wheels 2 weeks after buying the car and springs and never have been a big fan of sunroofs so I would have been fine with the fixed glass roof... Oh well

I have a spec package. Apparently the dealer had it, I wanted it It was the only 5 spd tc they had too. If anyone wants to buy my spec package wheels with the hubbies I only have 200 miles on them. PM me.

nope. i dont miss it. my landrover had 2 sunroofs. what a pain really.
