Default Panorama moonroof modifications?

I want to put a shield underneath the glass panels because the moonroof window shades gets too hot under the midday sun. This causes the interior to get hot and hinders the AC from cooling the car quickly. I was thinking of putting a white mesh which is detachable from the glass. I;m in a quandary as to how to attach it. My options are velcro, magnets, sunfilms, shading the glass darker (similar to window treatments for privacy) There is aqbout 1/2-3/4 inch space between the glass and the sunshades for any mods. Any ideas out there would be appreciated. Thanks.

Next project is to put window blinds under the trunk glass panels. Is there any aftermarket products that can do this? I have seen those blinds in other cars but they are placed outside on top of the glass.

But instead you got an xA? Real smart since your worried about the A/C. Maybe try reading the manual on how to operate the A/C...... Sorry couldn't resist

lol, u 'n ur ac flaming..

manila.. what you're talking about wouldn't be tough at all. You'd just have to make some cutouts that'll fit perfectly into the sunroof wells.
Personally, for the next gen tc (if there were to be one) I'd like to see the rear sunroof pushed back a bit and actually integrated into the rear window. At that point, the rear sunroof would be active and would slide up towards the front of the car but sliding underneath the front roof glass. During the road trip, I was really gettin' into it. Would definitely create a wicked breeze flowin through the cabin.. almost like a convertible..

HINT: SCION GUYS, GET THIS TO THE CORP OFFICES

I don't remember what the top looks like exactly, but can't you just apply some window tint to help with the heat?

I have never owned a car with a sunroof/moonroof. If what I said was stupid, please just ignore.

I have no problem with the tC scion AC. It is adequate. I do have a problem with the
roof getting too hot and the heat radiates into the passenger cabin.
I paid a visit to a sunroof tinting business and they do have a lot of choices of heat dissipating films to put on in different shades. The prices are reasonable and the tint can be removed later on. It only takes one hour to install. I may have this done later on this month.
