I was just on TrdSparks web site and noticed their part numbers start with 00016-79025 for the mirror instead of PT374-21050 like most places . I asked my dealer about it and they told me Sparks accessories are supplied by a diff source than most of the other dealers in the US and I would have problems getting warranty covered by any dealers out of their area and I would have to go back to Sparks for warranty . Has anyone else run into this . :?:

What a load of crock... Sparks sells genuine TRD/Toyota parts.

The auto dimmining mirror isn't TRD or Toyota, its made by a 3rd party company anyways...

But if you buying the auto dimming better get it from: http://www.toyotaparts4u.com
They have a special for this month... only: 175.00 vs 217.75 (trdsparks) and 218.30 (mcgeorge).

Looking at McGeorge thier the only that use the PT part # but from the picture it looks exactly like mines and I ordered it from toyotaparts4u.com

Maybe if you get the one with the PT part # you only have one way to install it and thats using the long wiring harness... can someone confirm?

You can get this mirror from eBay for $119 buy it now, but you will have to make your own harness (read: buy 3x6' wires).

I mean was it that hard? If you post it earlier then one less post.

If I remember correctly thats the same company that makes the auto dimming for the tC... but the link you posted wasn't the mirror they sell for the tC. I check the sellers other items as well... but they aren't it either.

The tC has no compass, no temp monitor.

I mean yeah, I'm pretty sure you can make it fit... but that wasn't the point I was trying to make.

I apologize for the flame... but you have to see where I am coming from on this.. you have to compare same product... not simalar... SAME.

Anyways... thats it, don't want to pursue this anymore.

Thanks for the ebay link to the mirror but this one does not have Homelink on it and it is used.
