Default Please help!

Hey guys! I am new to this forum and I need some help. My girlfriend has a 2005 tC and her driver side sun visor broke. She flipped it down one day, and now it won't stay up. The dealer won't fix it as it is out of warranty. Where would be the best place to find a replacement? The stealership sells it fr $60 for a damn visor. Please email me at r_adesigns@yahoo.com with any help or if you are selling or know someone that is selling a visor. Much appreciation for any help. Thanks!

Try trdsparks.com. The link is to the extended visor. You could probably email them and ask them about the regular visor.
They are top notch and I highly recommend them!

I had the same problem and fixed it months ago. I unbolted the visor from the car and set it on a table. Then proceeded to take the stiching off near the top of the visor where the metal rail bolts to the car so I could find the problem and made sure to take as little stiching off as possible. I then pulled back some of the fabic to expose the white plastic clip that was loose which makes your the fabric "bulge out" when you move the sunvisor back and forth and causes it to hang down. What you need to do is take a small screw used for metal, 7/16" in length so it won't poke out on the other side of the fabric. Then I got my brother to hold back the fabric to keep the white plastic clip exposed as I drilled a small hole to start the screw through the lower center of the white plastic clip to provide a good sturdy connection which the glue didn't provide. Then i just sewed up the the stiching which I carefully cut apart earlier and it was a good as new. So far its been about a 3 months and the clips haven't snapped and still feel sturdy so I hoping its a permanent fix. Sorry I have no pics as I did this . Hopefully it might help you out if you haven't solved the problem already.
