So ive always really wanted a push start button like my moms car has and the car my dad is going to get has and i found one called the original push start button made by ignited performance and i was wondering how you put it in and if it will work for our car. So could anyone tell me how to put it in if it works?

of course you still need a key (as stated above). some push-button starter cars need a key stuck in the keyhole (but not turned) in addition to pushing the "ignition/start" button. some newer push-button ignition cars dont need that key because they have that fob that the vehicle senses when you are in the immediate vicinity of the vehicle. then you can push that button without having to put in anything.

OK CHECK IT OUT
Use a remote start bypass model maybe??? that the factory key stays in the box up in the dash wired to the ignition so it sees the chip in the key that i am sure scions have....i think??

I hotwire my push start button to my ebrake button and if i press it 2 times and hold it .. it will start the car if i push and hold I can use the ebrake. I bought a push start button system but did some customs. i would post pics but its just a ebrake button but ill post the system hardware soon

You can always buy a Mercedes SLk700,000 < or something like that, and have a push button come with the car.... Actually, they use sensors that automatically sense the key within 10 feet of the car and will then let you just push the button to start the car...
