Only happens when you turn the wheel?

I have a clicking noise coming from my steering column, or somewhere behind my dash when i hit the 3k rpm mark... totally annoying, although very quiet, so it isn't THAT bad.

Not trying to be funny, but have you checked what is on your key chain and made sure you aren't hitting it with your leg or something.

Just something to check. I'd suggest you clean out the entire car of any loose items ( maybe in stages, like glove box first, then console, then hatch) and see if the noise goes away, and also remove anything from your key chain, and just drive with the single key/fob.

Might help figure it out or narrow it down before you head to a dealer to have them say "can't replicate problem"

I remember something about a cable (inside a round package) that is beneath the steering wheel (part of it, but beneath it) that mounts with the steering column. the cable from what I remember is what helps you turn off the turn signal. If that cable isn't routed correctly, I bet that's the noise you're hearing.

All the dealer has to do is pull the air bag off, then the steering wheel and fix that part. Sorry i wish I knew what it was called. Others on here might know.
