I thought about PA.. or NH cause theres no taxes I don't think? The cheapest i've found so far for one with understandable mileage (40s) was I think 26. I figure I can talk them down to at LEAST 23, but then tax title and license will put me back up to the starting price. If I can avoid the taxes, i'll be all set.

I'm not limiting my search to just MA thats for sure. I'm trying to get an idea as to what my car will be worth in stock form with 45,000miles. Condition is great but the mileage is a little steep.

I just remembered... if I show up with my hopes up, down payment ready, car bone stock, new car keys in my hand and it turns up I only qualify for like an 11% interest rate i'm going to go bananas. I need to see what my credit score is. DOH

 

what year is ur car man? ur car should be worth around 12k or more no? i have 95k on my tc and its worth about 7/8 lol but its also an 05.

Hell no i'm not moving back, who said that? lol I was saying to dave I just moved back (to MA, this is where I grew up. I only lived in AZ for a couple years) but I still know people.

My car is an 06. If it's worth 12 that'd be perfect, I could get 2grand out of the aftermarket junk easily. Put a couple grand down on the new car, and finance around 20. If my interest rate is on point enough I will be at my goal in payments with ease.

Once I find a car, I'll go in and do up the credit check and take it from there. If all goes well i'll tell them i'll be back in a couple days with a stock car for trade
