Yea i know what you mean about the holes, the stupid dealer drilled into mine when i went to pick up the car i was a little upset cause i told them not to drill into the bumper.But oh well i was to hype to get the car out of the dealer and drive around the new whip.

 

I like what they did, or were trying to do with the 5.0 RS. It's finally as if Scion has a "Type-S" or "GT" or whatever edition. Most of the RS models seem to be mostly the same as the base tC. By giving the TRD edition a few performance upgrades and some new wheels, it stands out. I still wish they'd do away with the 08+ tail lights though!

Finally got the strut tower bar I see, I want the RS3 tail lights. If you tint please do not spray them, I myself would go vynil. I gotta do my tax return ASAP, have me one particular thing I'd like to get. I see ya on the Scikotics forums.

Purchased back in September 09. ~6k miles or so on her now. I still haven't taken any photos of the car since I purchased it. To be honest I'm not sure if I'll be keeping the car or trading it for a 2010 black 2dr civic si this spring. It's up in the air.

I really like alot about the 5.0, but I hate the gearing, the lack of a LSD, and the new taillights are ugly. So its either spend some money and fix up the tC, or just trade it in. I guess time will tell.

im tryin to stick with the black and red scheme, I wasnt trying to copy the rs. I jus recently found out that there was a black gloss rs.. thought i was one of a few lol car used to be white and after about 20k miles i decided i wanted a color change. In the pics the jams werent painted yet cause I was having them painted flat black instead of gloss. The contrast of the 2 colors looks so sick, im planning on doing a few more things in flat black like the oem spoiler, wheels and possibly the side skirts. tail lights are 09' and hood is cf.

Ive added quite a bit in the last 6 months... Strut bar, short throw shifter, RS3 grille is going on soon along with kami deck spoiler and either RS4 DAMD lip or JPUSA lip...

 

Sounds like some nice additions to get ahold of! I myself really want an RS4 kit and eitehr an RS1 or RS2 grille. worse case scenario would be an RS4 grille aswell.

So has anybody had any issues with paint coming off the TRD badge in the back? part of my paint came off when i removed some masking i had put on to protect it while I detailed with my buffer.

 

Just bought some new stuff.. Convex Blue mirrors, aftermarket halo projectors, 3k bulbs for lows, Kami deckspoiler and Keytechniques keyhole covers..


As far as paint comming off the badge.. I havent heard of anyone having that problem... Now we all have had the TRD Centercaps fade out a little.. They actually have a layer of plastic on them that the dealer didnt remove...

 

Well luckily the dealership replaced my badge underwarranty so thats all better.

I changed my interior a lil bit for HIN this past weekend. didn't exactly finish but i'll get pictures up on here or scikotics forums shortly

I was trying to get my hvac swap done by then but i broke the lcd screen on the spare one i had trying to get it loose. so that still needs to be done

 

I never did remove the plastic from the centercaps, might go on and do that. I've had the APR convex blue side mirrors for a while, just haven't put them on yet. And I'm still on wait for more low for the car.

 

Yeah I don't know that i want to lower my car any. I mean I wish the front was lower but i'll just disguise it with a font lip

 

whats up guys and girls i have #1403 its a 5 speed only mods i have right now are dc strut bar, stop tech brake pads, and a red sparco shift **** i just ordered some red samco radiator hoses to make the engine bay look more sexy im hopefully gunna order a carbon fiber lip spoiler from password jdm but gotta get more tires i was ridding on racelands for a little bit but had to take those off cause of bad camber wear back on the trd springs

 

What did you do with your 08 type headlights then?

 

well i saw the only rs 5.0 in my area on a flat bed pretty much totaled the other day! lol
