i've driven two honda's (my friends acura rsx type s and my brothers 98 civic dx) and they're clutches are really unforgivable and feels like it can catch on pretty much anywhere... my friend in the rsx had a little trouble learning the clutch on the tC because it caught on at a certain point and was really smooth. its like switching from briefs to boxers.. it feels a little wierd, but you just gotta get used to it

If I drive either one for a decent amount of time I have to get used to it again. Like this weekend with the bug, I had not driven it in a few months (winterised for the short rainy season here) and I brought it off the jack stands (keeps the tires from getting flat spots) this weekend to clean it up and take it to a show and it felt so odd.

who cares...it's better that it stalls, than not stalling and doing more damage...thats why the engine stalls out like that, it's a safety feature.
i let my friends drive my tC, i'm fine with it as long as they don't roast the clutch or grind gears

My friends aren't that big into cars, thankfully. I have one friend who appreciates cars like we do. I'd let him drive it with me in it, but I don't think I'd let him borrow it unless it was a very special occasion or something. He has decent insurance so no big worries. Most of my friends would just want to ride in it, some would even be scared to drive it since they can't drive stick.
