Weird thread..........me and another guy from our team went on an invited charity run with the Dodge guys............I willsay first hand they drive an impressive motored car........after talking to many of them that race, the tranny is good but the weak link is the shafts.........the cars pull very fast but I did notice many slowed for corners........but many also had stock suspension.........pretty cool cars..........two broke down on the way,oil lines leaking and one blew off........it was fun.........glad to of gotten to run withthe Dodge guys.......shame everyone is all up in arms.........take it tot he track and have some fun........goodness.....

thats all this thread was about we didn't mean for it to get like this...sorry guys for the extreme hatred...it's just on the srt boards we all usually joke around like this and it's no big deal about who's bashing who outta fun when psi chick first made this thread i meant to answer it early but never got a chance to and then other people started getting in on it....its more of just like "fun bashing" on each others cars
and yes the srt owners know to slow it down around corners b/c that back end is wayyyyyy too high and they all know that is one of the main reasons y some of them flip...

why do people always hate cars that are not their own? I love my tC, but the SRT-4 owns hands down in performance, but not so much in driver comfort, fit and finish, reliability, heck the srt-4 doesnt even have cruise control, but it does have a stock lsd and no cats! The thing was built for speed only, unlike the tC.
I know there was a Car and Driver issue that had a comparison of the Cobalt SS, Ion Redline, Surbaru WRX, SRT-4, and the RSX Type S. In almost every performance aspect the SRT-4 won, i think the only thing it didnt win was the 0-60, i belive the WRX got that one due to the all wheel drive. In the end after all the scores came in, they liked the RSX better overall, followed by the WRX, SRT-4, Coball SS and dead last was the Ion.
I think the only people that says its just a neon are the ones that know they cant beat them.
