I saw 300 at the drive-in theater. The FM signal was flawless. The cars sound system was great! Oh, and you get to watch two movies for $7.00...per car! I'm not sure if they'll let you in with friends strapped on top of your car though...

sounds like fun but at times i leave my radio on for 30 minutes and when i start her up it takes a bit to crank up. is that normal or on the verge of a dead battery? i have no system btw.

That sounds like a bad battery. But, you may just be imagining it. The only good way to see is to do it, then check your battery's voltage. My system can run for like 3 hours at max and still start up, but the voltage is really sagging by then.

I think the drive in near me (15 min?) recommends you run the engine for a few minutes at intermission. They show two movies for like $5 or something... haven't been in a while, so I forget the price. But it's not terrible. And I think there are two screens.

I have one around my Area. I live in Miami and the one by me is the Swap Shop Flea Market that has the drive in at night. Haven't been there yet, but seems like a good idea now.

I think drive-ins are cool. But too bad they're starting to go away.
