if scion REALLY wanted to make a tuner edition, it should come without a radio or speakers, have the cheapest rims ever made (because those are usually the first two things to go anyway) and they should concentrate on wieght reduction.

actually what people are forgetting.. 161hp with the NEW SAE Hp ratings.. ours are actually 154 or 156hp with the new sae hp ratings.. it was 160 before that, but not now.. so the new tc is like 5 or 7hp more..

But max HP is even closer to redline which isnt good. I dont know why they moved the power band up even higher.

probably got an intake that was " breathing" better.. sounds like the same changes they made on the rav4's 2az-fe engine.. and i bet it'll take the 5w-20 oil, like the rav4 does.. there is the 1mpg difference..

you cant assume anything from the fact that they just moved the redline up. there are a lot of adjustments to be made that we don't know. if done right, it's a good thing. and they'll do it right.

5-7hp...<shrugs> nothing that a change to synthetic oil, and an intake can't help fix.

I would love having a higher redline. 6250 is too low for these cars. The tach goes up to 8000, I want to take more advantage of the needle sweep.

usually most high revving cars need premium gas :] or at least should. so its a bit of a tradeoff. higher revving, more compression, better gas.

strip your car and empty out all the sound deadening materials. theres a ____LOAD of it. some weight reduction in that.

what the "tuner edition" needs is a TRD making a tuneable ecu from the factory. no warranty on that though.

I like the sound of it. I wouldn't mind having a 07. I would like the extendable sun visors. What do they mean when they say no eyebrow? Don't you mean that the passenger seat has an airbag sensor? I kno this a little off topic but got any 07 xB info because that's what I most likely will be getting instead of an 06.5 xB.

Is this the specs for the ACTUAL 2007 tC OR the "tuner" edition? Because I was informed today that I might have to get a 07 SW tC instead of a 06 SW tC that I've been looking for and it will be a manual, so if this is the 07 tC, then screw it. I'm getting a FM instead. So, which is it??????
