Scion TC or Acura TSX

What kinda thread is this?! C'mon guys. If You got the cash for a top of the line car.. Why are you considering an in-expensive Econo-box? Get the TSX. If you are just posting to get a laugh and really can't afford the insurance and payments on a TSX get a tC. Quit the "Should I buy a 40,000 dollar car... or buy a 17,000 dollar car?" threads.

if you seriously wanted an honest reply then take it to a non-bias site. how can you even compare the two vehicles you have listed? like i said in my first post, if she can afford the monthly payment and insurance payment on the TSX then why not get a TSX?

Get the TSX. Speed isn't everything when considering a car. The TSX is a smooth drive, lots of extra and comforts, and is beefy. Love my tC... But its like saying "Should I buy a tC and mod it out to make 500 whp.... or buy a z06?" In the end you are still driving a tC (granted a very nice powerful tC) but the z06 still has the status.

To even compare the two. Like what has already been said. If the TSX is within price range, hell yea go for that car. Do some research on intellichoice for value ratings and what not. Great site, check it out. Hope that helps. ^ ^

wasnt this thread created once before. Yeah it didnt end up going that well.... people got flamed pretty bad. Now that i think about it the thread that was created was a girl, are you opening the flood gates again on her behalf?
I think the crit was because you can't compare the 2 on a price point stance (TSX: MSRP: $27,190 - $29,190 Tc: MSRP: $16,000 - $17,000 ). Its meant to be in another class of car and if your having an issue comparing the 2 its because they arent meant to be compared they aren't competitors (Edmunds.com has these as competitors to the TSX: Audi A4, BMW 3 Series, Mercedes-Benz C-Class, Saab 9-3, Subaru Impreza).
The rsx, civic, se-r, and the like are competitors to the tC, they are all in the same class of sport compact. The tsx is getting into the sport sedan/luxury segment. Instead of thinking about it, people will throw you crap because they dont think your comparison is an educated one.

the thing i do not get is that the cars share NOTHING in common... one is a 4 door luxury sedan, and the other is a value based mod coupe... apples and oranges come to mind...
