nope not a chick's car. girls do look extra hot driving a tC though esp if its manual.

i got a female friend who drives a 5 spd flint mica tC.

All my friends call my tC "cute". It infuriates me!!!
one of my friend was "does tC stand for too cute"

Dude, relax. The tC is not a chick car. I've yet to see one driven by a female....except for when i allow my wife to drive mine.
When I think of a chick car Cavalier, neon and vw beetles come to mind. Just stand back and look at the stance of the tC........there is nothing femanine about it.

The tC is definitely not a chick car, although I can say that the celica probably was (along with the aforementioned miata, cabriolet and beetle). don't let your insecurity get the best of you - if you can rock it like a man, no one will question you about what kind of car you are driving
This is probably the best advice. Its your car, drive it. Any inexpensive sport compact that has a bit of style to it can always be dubbed a chick car since someones daddy will inevitably purchase it for them.

Funny how a Celica and a Miata are apparently "chick" cars but yet they can outhandle a TC with ease...

Chick's car? Maybe. Who cares.

The Ford Mustang, now that's a chick's car.

I'm serious. Ask any woman what she thinks about the new Mustang. My girlfriend is dying to get one. And those are supposed to be one of the most masculine cars around...

The tC's a UNISEX car.

its a chick's car. just like every other sub-compact sport coupe ever made. mustang, eclipse, rsx, celica, you name it. anything that can be had at a cheap price, looks good, and offered in automatic will draw chicks to it like flys to honey.

i agree that the bottom line is: who cares?

I dont consider it to be a girls car, I think it just has to do with styling. Any car can be a "chicks car" some chicks have style and some dont... Just be happy with what you have and forget about the haters who wanna make fun.

People on the AcuraTL forums say its a chicks car but I don't really care because it doesn't really matter. I've gotten positive comments on the tC from both males and females.

It's the nature of all two-doors that aren't muscle cars or hardcore sports-cars. For example... In my area people driving celicas, tiberons, RSXes, 325i's, etc.. are mostly women. SO, I'd say the tC is only a little more of a chicks car than the v6 mustang because I see about the same amount of men/women driving them. Regardless of all that, one thing is for sure, the women I know like *my* car. ;-)
