scion tC roadster?
ALright, i realize that scion is trying to keep one trim line for it's tC. But is it sacreligous of me to say that i wouldnt mind seeing my tC as a convertible? I believe a diff. more powerful engine would be necessary considering that it will add weight to the already chunky tC. Can i get some people's thoughts? and can anyone quote a price on what it would take to make such a conversion?

Its been done in real life. There are 3 tCs out there with the convertible. Its expensive, and they are no longer convettibles. Just converted. No roof to go up.
To have one where a roof would retract and be able to go up and down would cost thousands and thousands. Most stock convertibles leak after some time. Imagine what a custom one would do!!

The tC will not be made into a convertible, but I did hear a rumor that the tC's replacement may spawn a convertible as well. Since we really don't know what the replacement is, or what it looks like, then it could be possible that a convertible would be made. Especially since Toyota's raising the prices on their cars a little in the next year.

alright, if not a full convertible, what about a targa top like on the honda del sol? I realize with all convertibles there is the chance that it will leak, and the tC will be replaced soon.

to use the targa top you would have to physically remove it urself and store it urself, then is rains and you have to scramble to pull over and pull it out of ur trunk and put it on, etc etc etc
just buy an eclipse or a mustang
