The first list is basically a list of cheap, easy to obtain vehicles that appeal more to the younger crowd. Less responsible crowd, if you will.

The second list, are vehicles that mostly more adult, conservative responsible people drive.

Especially the corvette, as a more expensive car, not as many people can obtain one as a tC. And the people who CAN have a vette, will treat it more responsibly.

How many kids/young adults, own and hotrod a Buick Rendezvous? None. Point proven, lol.

Insurance is only as expensive as how many idiots have had to file a claim on that specific make/model.

I have not had an accident in 5 years and HAD a clean record (No tickets for 3 years) until I got this tC. Now I have 2 tickets on my record (for which they revoked my license). It was actually more to insure this tC than if I would have bought the 2004 z06 vette that I was gonna get.

LLOL you bought the tc instead of buying a vette smack yourself in the head.
When i bought the tc i didnt know any better i was young and stupid for the price of the tc i could have bought a car for 10,000 and put 10,000 worth of parts into it had a way faster and cheaper car to insure.

Mine is like $115 or something per month. Thanks USAA.

The closest any other insurance comes is $165 per month, with $350 down for a 12 month contract.

Well at the time it was 26k for the vette with 50k miles or 4k for the tC with no body parts and only 12k miles. After putting the car back together and putting a turbo in it I currently stand at 11k in it. The REAL deciding factor at the time of purchase was that I worked downtown Houston and lived in Katy. So super long drive and really bad roads with death trap parking lots. Now that I don't work downtown I do wish I had the vette.
