SCIONshane's tC......The Official Thread
Alright peoples...I guess I'll start a thread about my car and just keep updating with pics as time goes on. First off, a little bit about the car:
My car is a 2007 Scion tC, "Classic Silver Metallic." I got the car as a b-day present when I turned 16 in Oct. of 2006. I had a few other cars to choose from, which included a Mini Cooper S with a few mods already done to it (BBS rims, PIAA fogs), a supercharged Cobalt SS, and a Corolla XRS. When I brought the tC home, the only thing on the car was the Borla axle-back exhaust. Here is a list of the mods I have now, and I'll give a little time line with pics if I can find enough. Everything was installed by me and my dad.
. : Engine Mods : .
-Fujita Cold Air Intake
-Borla axle-back exhaust
-TWM Stage 2 Short Throw Shifter (I'm assuming this is the right category)
-TWM Shifter Cable Bushings
-TWM Shifter Base Bushings
. : Exterior Mods : .
-Tenzo-R DC6 V1.0 Rims (18 x 8 )
-Muteki Lugs, Black
-Red painted calipers
-"SCION" windshield graphic, because I'm a ricer
-OEM Fogs
-VentVisors (call it a mod if you wanna...or not)
. : Suspension Mods : .
-Tein S-Tech springs
-Greddy Strut Tie Bar
. : Interior Mods : .
-Leather seats, black w/ red stitching (used to be vinyl/cloth)
-TWM Performance ".44 Magnum" weighted shift ****
-Hardwired TomTom GPS
Here are some things I'd like to do in the future...
-Turbo (Turbonetics, Turbo Toyotas, or Dezod)
-Coilovers
-Big Brake Kit
-CF Hood, OEM style
-Agency Power Cat-Back Exhaust
-Tint Windows
-Paint the "waterfall" black
-5 Axis lip kit
Okay, now for some pics...I'll try and post these in chronological order.
The day it came home...
Then after the fogs and flames...
Then the intake, springs, and strut bar...
A week or two later I painted the calipers (G2 Paint systems kit)...
Then there was a long period of no moddage until December of 07 when I got the rims as a late b-day/early Christmas gift...and then on Christmas I got the short throw shifter...
Sorry, no pics showing the height of the new shifter compared to the stock one.
Once again a decent period of dormancy with the modding until I decided to go ahead and pull the flames off and I put on the vent visors.
My most recent change is the new leather interior, Muteki lug nuts, and the hardwired GPS...(no pics of the GPS at the moment)
Hopefully all of these pictures worked...I copied and pasted this from another forum that I'm a member of, where I noticed that a few of the pictures no longer worked. I graduate from high school on Jan. 23 and so I'm gonna take a whole day to detail the mess outta this thing and get some good pics, so be sure to check back....

Yeah haha...many were happy when I finally did that last summer. It took alllllllll dayyyyy to get those off. The sun had made the vinyl soo brittle that it just kept breaking. No joke, I spent probably 10 hours altogether on that. I actually rode around one day with flames on only one side of the car. And the flameless side still had adhesive residue in the outline of the flame as well as random patches haha.
