Default Secret Society of Scion (tC) Modders

Hey guy this was brought up in one of the post, name was thought of by Lil_Deuce_tCoupe. I'm sure you've all done it, I'm sure you have your little secrets that your itchin to tell someone, but can't cause you MODDED your car, behind your parents, wife, hushands, fiancee's, ___/ straight partners back, here's your chance! Join the CLUB and tell us your "I secretly modded....behind my...backs" story!

Perhaps we need to start the SSSM (Secret Society of Scion Modders), to help others in the same boat find believeable excuses and ways to mod without getting caught - I mean.... to stand up for ourselves as men and do whatever we want!
(as long as the wife or parents say it's ok!).

I've so far installed an INJEN SES exhaust, on my car while my parents were at work. The stock exhuast I can't leave anywhere soo I piled my dirty laundry on top of it. I don't think they have any idea....well at least I hope they're not...[/quote]

Is there a problem with saving some money? You'll understand, once you get into college, living on your own, with debt, and a car to payoff, not gonna happen.

Yeah move out. Not to mention the amount of laundry it would take to cover an exhaust. Maybe you should ask your mom to do the laundry for you. I'm just messin. I lived at home until I was 21. Its not a big deal. My mother also hated when I "wasted my money" modding my car and would freak everytime I did anything to it. Most of my mods are secret mods and now I certainly dont tell the GF everything I change. She did however notice when I gutted the interior and there was only one seat left. That mod was kinda hard to hide...

i can't believe that this actually made it to become it's own thread...
Save the money used to mod your car and move out of your parents house!

Besides, it's much easier just to hide ****

A good way to mask stuff is just replace it when it natually happens.

Brakes go bad : Get a stage 2 of BBK
Lights are not enough when u drive in he dark: Get HID's
Tires screech when i am taking turns: Get wider wheels and new tires and a sway

All of these upgrades are "SAFETY" related and end up costing just as much as a dealer would charge except better quality

well shoot, if you want to think that way...

lip kit= better aerodynamics @ highway speeds
window tint= security
performance stuff= incase you ever have to accelerate quickly to get out of a sticky situation

Why do you think I don't plan on marrying one?
Most stay with their parents until they get married (which is around their 30s)
Same goes for girls

In the sense of interior "cleaning", I hate to do it. Dusting/laundry/making the bed.........good thing is that my gf likes to. She likes to do a lot around the house but I like more fabrication activity and outside cleanup. So, it's a trade off for us

I break the mold when it comes to cooking though. I love to cook and it's cool that she does too. We both make some great meals!
