That IS pretty slick, isn't it...
I still think one of the best things is that the lights (any or all) are switched via the ignition key. I leave my parking lights on all the time now...kinda like daytime running lights and never have to worry about forgetting to turn them off.

alls i gotta say is, i'm gonna have fun with this car. the sound system is really nice, and it does have more pick-up than the A/T that i test drove.
i'm doing pretty good with the M/T as well - first manual car that i've owned and i think i've got it down...

well, at least you're used to using your left foot... at the same time, it's doing the wrong thing! lol!
seriously, i've put maybe 40 miles on it since i got it (at 11 on the odo...) and i feel like it's second nature already. you catch on fast, as long as you have someone there to explain it to you well enough. my fiance's uncle is the salesman i went to to buy the car, and he helped me out on another one they had on the lot last week - explained to me the tricks and tips... mainly finding the "clutch point" is the key. he helped me out so much, i was able to teach my fiance last night, and she did really well! until we got to a 30% grade hill, going up, and she freaked out...

i put 300 miles on mine so far and im finally getting a hang of the manual. i think the clutch is a little bit too sensitive though maybe all new cars are? this is my first new car so i dont know. anyway this thing is fun to drive.

okay... well, after a couple of weeks after owning the car, i'm going to chime in with MY favorite subtle nuances...
the way you can touch everything for a split second and have it do what you want smoothly - the climate-control dial and buttons, the windows, the rear hatch, the roof shades, even the glovebox - you release the handle, and it floats down to the fully open position. that's pretty trick!
i like how the shoulder harness of the seatbelt is in the b-pillar, not just hanging from it.
the two over-head lights - one in the front and one in the back. each able to be independantly connected to the door opening. also the rear compartment light... nice touches.
