Yea, the TC seems a little harder to shift real smooth. I started out driving in my mom's manual Echo, and I can shift that really smoothly no problem. Hell, I used to borrow my grandpa's manual F150 and I can shift that pretty smooth too.

But starting the TC from a standstill is rarely smooth for me unless I really feather it (which I'll only bother with if I have a passenger). Shifting to second used to be bumpy too, but I'm pretty smooth with it now. Downshifting is fairly easy to keep smooth, you just need practice at rev matching.
