Should I trade the TC in for a Crossfire SRT-6
I have been thinking about this because recently one came in on trade is now sitting out on the lot by me. Ive been trying to think of pros and cons about it and read some forums and reports about the car. If you dont know about it I will give you a brief summary. It is the 2005 two door coupe with a hand built 3.2 Litre V-6 Supercharged from Mercedes Benz. It is an automatic but all came that way. Made in Germany along with the rest of the drivetrain and suspension. Same motor that they put in the SLK AMG's. It has 330 horse/310ft.lbs which I thought was quite impressive. I know that there will be expensive parts for it due to it technically being a Mercedes. Although I do know the rest of the car is Chrysler...which I cant say I am a fan, but I never really owned one so. Gas mileage is low to mid 20's which is fair. One of the things that also caught my eye was it is rwd and only 2000 of these were made. Has staggered 18's in front and 19's in back. I also found out that it is a screamer as far as factory cars go. 0-60 in 5.1 seconds and 1/4 mile times of 13.1. Forums stated that a few mods such as lightened pulleys and such will easily put you in mid 12 range. Also found insurance would be about $10 bucks more a month. Not that big of a deal. Let me know what some of you guys think.....

I'm not a fan of the Crossfire... so my vote would be no. But it's not my choice.
Another thing to consider is the RWD, like you mention... you live in Wisconsin, what are you driving in the winter? And would it be the Crossfire?

personally i love those cars. they are quick as hell and look nice. if you can find a beater for the winter then do it. b/c i mean, i would rather drive a beater than my tc in the winter anyway(that why i live the south).
other question, its only 17K? it has 15K miles on it? that doesnt make sense to me. if it is so "rare" and very little miles, it should be a lot more. it there anything wrong with it?

No its totally legit. I was going to take it on a test drive. I already sat in it and looked through it all. Its pretty nice. I knew there would be some people that would out and out say no, but why?

You can get a 350z for less and have a much more reliable car that is as quick and handles better. The SRT-6 is only 40% MB, which means at least 60% of the car is bound to fall apart.

Even James May hated it.
