So why does everyone like the car dropped? Is that just the thing now or what? I know peeps got their opinions, but I guess what I'm really asking is what it does for the ride.

looks 100x better and handles better as well depending on which suspension you go with

So if you're rolling with like the TRD springs and struts, you're good? I think the springs lower 1", and the struts help make the ride comfy. Couple that with the front and rear sway bars and I think you'll have a pretty solid ride.

well into more of a drop such as the fender siting right above the wheel (1 - 1/2" finger gap) or slightly tucking so the trd springs wouldnt quite do it for me

If you take it at an extreme angle, you should be ok. I don't think backing in is going to change anything, you're car will still have to clear the slope.

The front of my car with the lip will be lower than the back with the RS1

you will still have to worry about scraping the front because the slope will still be there lol.. ur rear will make it fine but ur front lip will sit on the street instead of ur driveway, its the same thing going straight in and backwards lol.

Freaking HOA in my neighborhood is a biscuit. They get upset over everything and tow cars parked overnight.
