mhm tc is nicest you can really get staying inside its class when you compare all aspects, if you go outside of its class there are obviously more enjoyable cars. Mines personally gonna be 4 years old in like...6 months, I really doubt Im getting rid of mine since I owe nothing, never had any maintance costs outside oil changes, can't ask for more at 22. Next car though I got my eye on the 370z or who knows even camaro.

yeah thats how i feel, car will be paid of soon and im done with car payments after that, i had a 2002 civic si ep3 i loved it. but got rid of it for the tc which i like more. but im done with car payments and full cover once this car is payed off

i am not jealous of the tC suspension.. the front is a cake walk.. the rears arent that easy... i HATE dealing with plastic panels, and he broke a few clips after i made him a "good" deal...

i told him he wouldnt have to do anything besides screw the top hat onto the spring and he could even go inside if he finishes his part of the work... he had to tear down the trunk... after a few minutes i was inside watching him try to tear down the trunk lol

after a while i decided i had enough clearance and i let him go inside n rest up for a bit.. but he still helped out, thank GOD he didnt hold me to my word

I'll be glad to help you install, but not before it gets warm.. if you have a garage (heated preferably, but i have space heaters) with a compressor, air tools etc, i'd be glad to.. the MAJOR problem i ran into with the tC was how cold, windy, and dark it got.. i would've finished it in one day, but the wind was chilling my bones

dude if u could take your trunk apart so we can get to the rear strut mounts, you'd save so much time...

i dont wanna take apart anyones panels, because he broke one of his clips taking his out... ive broken many clips in my car, and Im missing a few clips around various parts of my exterior... nothing that effects functionality or look, but non the less, many clips have come out and not gone back in

i can definatly take apart my trunk to have it ready no problem. easy peasy for me to do. shouldnt be bad and it would save mad time

tein stechs are springs. i wanted coilovers but i couldnt let these go 80$ shipped!!

there isnt a spotted thread for the NYC/LI area not that i know of atleast. just make one, hopefully it will catch on

hey bro i found an extra set of shocks/struts locally im gonna pick up soon. so the stechs can go on those and thats it. no need to worry bout taking the stock springs off the current shocks on the car wooo

stock oem shocks. they were pretty cheap 60 bucks with low miles, i jus dont wanna put the tein's on my current stock shocks cause they have so many miles on them (104k)

def easier off the car, direct replacement would be simple, coupled with a trunk thats already ripped apart... smooth sailing


i was outside the other night and saw snow comin' down so idk when we'll do it, but if you get the struts and springs, just bring a wrench set and allen key up to your room, and tighten it up by hand... not a bad way to waste time and feel kinda accomplished afterwards...

his springs settled and he loves it... he thought he'd be scraping like me... when i ordered the springs first thing he said "i dont wanna be as low as u, ur car rides like ____"... i told him the part he hated of my ride wasnt my drop, but was my skunk2 struts

yeah im picking yup the struts soon, weather is killer right now so im gonna hold off till its a tad warmer to do this but atleast ill have the springs on the struts.

there is a meet thread for DPA jus look for, DPA friday nights.

I have no clue if im gonna scrape with my springs I have a feeling I will since I have a cf front lip and the springs are 2.4" front and 2" back

and the email thing should be on the options in user CP. I need to find out, but if not u can PM an admin. PM 'Tomas' he can definatly help u with that
