Its a good thing trd hasn't release the supercharger yet for the 07...still gives me time to think between turbo or sc.

24K for a Si is nuts! Owning a Si, you risk getting it stolen big time! Dont know if this is happening by you, but here in NYC, they are selling WRX for 22 and change. Of course thats way more than a 07 tC but comparing it with a 24K Si, it's a really good deal.

Well i just place a deposit on my 2007 BSP scion. My salesman me told me as of Friday 06/23/06 all orders being taken are for 07's. 06 is no longer available for him to order and if any dealer is telling you they can't get a 07 yet means they're trying to get rid of what they already have on their lots. I like superwhite but figured since we already have one whats the point of getting another one. I think I settled on supercharger. I need this car to last me till I finish school. Ya the mark ups on the si down where I live is crazy. Sad thing is there is never one on the lot except for the demo so someone out there is crazy enough to buy it.

One thing to consider when looking at any sort of forced induction, is that you're going to want (and feel like you NEED) to upgrade your suspension, which you might want to budget for. I think you'd be a lot happier if your car went from stock, to fast AND handles well. If I planned on keeping the car long enough, I'd invest in a new suspension. I wouldn't supercharge OR turbocharge it personally, as I don't want to pay $.20 extra EACH gallon that I fill up, and go through gas that much faster.

just a few things to think about...

I also heard that it won't fit the 07 the s/c. U do not want to wait for trd to finally make a compatible 07 s/c for the tC. It might take you 3 -4 years to have to think.

It's not gonna take 3 or 4 years to make a S/C for a car that the 2010s are coming out.

you'd think it wouldn't be hard for TRD to make the s/c fit the '07. I mean, it would essentially be the same thing since the engine isn't really changing. if they're just changing the head a little bit like I hear, then it should just be a matter of making some new brackets, or even just some adaptors. still, I'd just take the '06 and save yourself the headache.

What makes you think it's the last year for the tC?

^^^2007 will be the third year. If Scion sticks to their word, there won't be an 08 tC. There will be a new car to replace it.
