Same here. I remember waiting for my wheels to arrive. It was like 7:30 when the UPS guy finally got to my house.

Let me guess, you're not home/not going to be home until later..thus making the early delivery pointless.

Exactly.

I may be able to ditch work at 4 or 4:30... but ya... that's 4 or 4:30... not 12:30.

lol yep, and if you were home or took off work, it wouldn't have arrived until 6:30.

Just leave work. Seats are more important.

First note... I still have to thank Corbeau for the sponsorship. Even if they are one of the easier companies to get, it's still kind a big thing for me. The following notes are in no way a reflection of them - just my incompetence I think. So far the seats are awesome. On to the story.

I am ridiculously frustrated right now. Here is a REALLY short synopsis...

Seat install wasn't as easy as I was thinking (assumed absolute cake). Biggest issue was just getting the seat belt thing and the cables off of the old seats and on to the new. Just annoying but went OK.

Harness bar... forget it for now. That ____ is infuriating. I'm going to need some serious pointers from people that have installed it b/c I'm not seeing how it is possible. Sure looks easy and probably isn't as hard as I was making it. I want to think I'm just missing something on that.

Harnesses... there is no good place to mount the driver's side, right side, lap belt tail. For the rear tails I ended up running them back to the child seat thing with the "carabiner" method. Have to find a better solution when I finally get the bar in (if I do).

And now my airbag light is on... not sure how - everything is connected like it should be (that I know of). On the driver's side there is the wire going to the seatbelt and then some other wire going to a tiny "black box" thing. I took that off the old seat and put it under the new one and everything is plugged in but something is apparently up.

I need a couple days to cool down on this one... I'm seriously so frustrated right now. Not to mention I feel like a pretty big failure b/c I'm thinking this shouldn't have been as hard as I made it but I don't know yet what I may have been missing. GRR.

I will have a few pics of the seats installed (will make new thread)... but I need a shower first.

Did you do the ziptie thing for the passenger seat sensors? They need to have A LOT of tension on them for them to 'think' there is a seat on them.

I am unaware of this "ziptie" thing. Are you talking about the weight sensor for the passenger seat? B/c I haven't done anything with that yet.

Yep. There are a few threads on seat installs. My light is still on and I'm not sure which seat is causing it. I think it's the passenger because it thinks there is someone sitting in it so it beeps without the seat belt, but with the seat belt on, the airbag says "OFF" when it should say "ON"....so I dunno.

Also, did you do the resistors?

I don't have side/curtain airbags, so I was told I don't need to. It's an 05 when it was still an option.

Hmmm... I read through this:

https://www.scionlife.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=240155

And I don't think my 05 has those 4 sensor things. there is definitely some sensor for the driver's side, which I read is apparently the knee airbag sensor or something.

to mount the part of the harness you specified you basically have 4 options.

1.) mount it to the seat bracket if possible.

2.) Re-thread the hole for factory bracket so that you can put an eyebolt in it.

3.) Drill, Re-enforce, and thread a new hole near the one stated above. ^

4.) Use the left over bolt from the factory seat bracket and put it through the harness clip (if it will fit) then into the hole it came out of.
