Default Sport Pedals by OBX install?

I was planning on ordering the Sport Pedal covers from trdsparks.com, about $45 less then getting it from the dealer. I was also going to get the Wheel locks too for $31.25.

Has anyone ordered from trdsparks.com and installed the pedals themselves?

Do they clip on/ slip on? or how do you install them?

Thanks for the help.

I have the OBX pedal covers.
For the TC all you do is remove the stock rubber pedal from the brake
and slip on the OBX one, and the gas pedal you just slip the OBX one
over the stock plastic pedal. No tools needed.

They install in like 30 seconds just spray some soapy water or a cleaning solution on the inside of the new pedal covers and they slide right on, I used a squirt of orange glow cleaner and it went on great it slipped on like a glove...

yeah i have installed them as well they are very simple. like stated above just use some soapy water. also if possible leave them in the sun for a while so the rubber on the bottom of them warms up and and is eaiser to work with.

my install wasnt as easy, because I got my pedal covers during one of the coldest days this year, so the rubber wasnt very pliable, and the dexterity in my hands was limited from the cold, but i managed to do it, took about 5 minutes of struggling. (I didnt use any soapy stuff either)

Man I did the same thing. I took my lunch hour and sat with the heat blasting on the floorboards as I hung half out of my car trying to wedge these frozen pedals on. After the car warmed up and heated up the covers, with the assistance of some soapy water, they went on without a glove.

Doing this in single digit weather while leaving the pedals in the car overnight in said weather: not suggested.

But it's a super easy install.

IMO they look so sexy and fit so well, they are totally worth getting. Oh! and in no way do they look cheap.

I don't think the OBX pedals look that great. take a look at some others, like this one

most of these aftermarket ones like razo you have to clamp them down with screws and plates. the OBX ones are direct fit that replaces the stock rubber.

true. there is more involved in putting on razos or whatever. but for something that looks better and perhaps better quality, i think it's worth that extra 5-10 mins. and it's not like u will be putting it on and taking it off all the time. i have a set of japanese Levoc pedals that look great and didn't take more than 3 mins to put on

that can't be a good thing, especially since you probably haven't had them for that long.
