If you did not care about your clutch and are running 350+hp and you are trying to launch at the track. Would it be faster to launch in 2nd to avoid burning out the tires down the track by having your clutch burn instead? If you have a stage III clutch wouldnt this be more resistant to the wear and tear as well?

.always start in first wish it wasn't as short and there was a 6th gear.
1st gear goes by too fast.
