Default Sunroof closing problem :( - HELP PLEASE!

For some apparent reason when i have the sunroof open, 99% of the time it doesnt close all the way, when i close it most of the times, it gets to the part of where it needs to push the outter part in for it to fully close, and than goes back, so for me to get it closed, i have to manually push the thing down with my hand and than close the roof

any ideas of suggestions on how to fix this maybe :*( please

yes, just take it to the dealership, the just need to grease the rails and adjust the track.

not a major problem, easy to fix, you could possibly do it yourself.

and please remember to search.

I have the same problem. I tried the gress thing, but didn't help. To close mine I have to do 3 or 4 taps of the button when it gets close to the wind deflector. It seems to close fine in cold weather, but in hot weather it acts up. I also have another problem. I doesn't close air tight. So there is a loud noise. One of these days I have to get it to the dealer. Good luck with yours.

sounds like bs.

i took my car to a dealership because a car less than a year old should have a perfectly functional sun roof. and if your dealership is too lazy or stupid to try and fix it, tell them they will get a call from scion corporate soon, and from now on you'll be taking your tc elsewhere for service.
