Default Sunroof Won't Close, About to Storm!!!

Ok, I reset the battery and freaked out when the passenger window wasn't working and some other stuff going on so I searched and figured out the window reset, but before I reset the window I tried to see if the sunroof/moonroof was working, well it opened to the first stop and wouldn't do anything after that. I've tried holding close and open for 1 sec all the way up to at least 30 sec. I've tried resetting the battery again and starting from square 1. I've checked all the fuses visually and have swapped the sunroof fuse with another one. I'm thinking what the problem is that the sunroof isn't closed all the way and in the instructions for resetting the sunroof in the manual says, make sure the sunroof is closed all the way, then hold the button for at least 2 seconds. So does anyone know of a way to manually close it, I've tried pushing on it a little bit but felt the glass bending.

Appreciate the quick response, I think I might try to disconnect the battery for an hour, I read on another forum question to reset it for one hour to do a full reset.

I would NOT suggest forcing it. But if you had to reset the system and didn't do it properly, the best idea is just to disconnect the battery again and do the reset of the sunroof again.

Update: tried restarting from step one after unplugging the battery for 30 min, went and got something to eat and noticed just the Speedometer wasn't working and the function that turns off the headlights when you open the drivers door after the key has been taken out and also the dome light stays on for about 20 seconds after I shut the door with the car started. I'm planning on taking it to the dealership in the morning but I don't want bugs in my car, there are already the tiny green spiders on it. Oh and by the way the rain never happened, just a lightning storm I guess.

Ford put a light underneath the hood for a reason.

Ok so here's the new update, took it to toyota, they have no clue what it is, I keep telling them it has something to do with the ecu or something, but they have to look at other possibilities, I keep hearing. So on to the new problem, battery is not charging, barely would start a minute ago, I got to reading and I think it is one of the fuses, according to another person on SL, so I switched it with another fuse and letting it sit for about 20 min. unplugged. Oh and I forgot to mention the people at the dealership we're asking well why did you disconnect your battery in the first place, I knew what they were trying to do, they were trying to get me to say that I disconnected it installing the Short Ram and try to pull the factory warranty won't cover that BS. But if this doesn't fix it, I have to take it or tow it back to them for round 2. So let's see that's tC 1, Dealership 0.
