Taming license plate and gas door vibration
I recently had some new subs installed, two 10s with a 3000 watt amp. The trunk and doors were dynamatted, and now the only rattles I need to get rid of are the license plate and gas door. Anyone have any suggestions on how to minimize the vibration in these places? Any tips at all would really help. Thanks!

I work at a place that sells Industrial stuff...for offshore boats, etc. We sell this sponge like material that comes in a lot of thicknesses. I got some 1/4 inch thick and put it between my license plate and the car (screw threw the sponge). You just cut it into two strips..about an inch wide and about 3 inches long.
Hope that helped...as for the gas door, I've never had a prob with that, but you could prolly rig up a way for this sponge material to help you out.

I put adhesive rubber stripping behind mine and it no longer rattles at all. You can pick up a big roll of it at HOME DEPOT for $5. The stuff works great and has yet to fall off in the rain nor snow over the last 1.5years. This is the same stuff that i stopped my hatch rattle with.

I agree with ya there. I didn't forget about it per se, but I wanted to make sure I did it correctly so that it would serve its purpose and not create more issues.
