That light on the dask is from a radar detector.

It isnt a radar detector, that light is built in to the dash, plus look at the contuer lines from the dash, the silver trim on the tC's dash dosent go all the way to the window, plus it looks like a clock, not a radar detector.

 

you know, looking at the file names he has suggests that the tC was indeed another neon. Maybe he grabbed the wrong file off his drive?

 

AND all the vids are HIS vid and you can see that the driver in the VSsrt.zip matches the driver in the VSrx72.zip.. Someone on that forum should ask this guy to post the right vid.

I'm afraid that it is a tC.


1.The "oh ____ handle" is in the same place as a tC
2.You do catch a quick view of the rear moon roof
3.The back window and little clothes hanger thingy are just like the tC
4.It is a radar detector. If you watch the vid you can see the suction cups on the windshield

Now what we should be arguing is if it really had a 125 shot. Oh yeah, one more thing: the SRT is still a neon, and even worse its still a dodge. Someone has a signature on this site that reminds me of the SRT, something about "fast crap." LOL

 

the oh ____ hanfle is in the same place with almost all cars, same with the clothes hanger hook. and the sunroof doesn't look that far back to me

 

also, you can see the wire coming from the radar detector. It looks like a tc, but then again it has some oddball things in it as well.
1. You cant see the silver from the waterfall console.
2. The roof liner goes down much farther on the c-pillar in a tc,
3. the guy has to have leather if it is a tc, there is no way that is the factory fabric, even with the change in color due to the night vision,
4. the oh ____ handles in my car are the same color as the roof liner that car's is not.
5. if you look closely there is a different color near where the seatbelt comes out of the b-pillar. the tc's is all the same color.

 

damn. Now i'm not so sure. I'm trying not to take color into consideration because of the night vision. Take Paris Hilton for example, she doesn't really have a green face, but she did on the video that i saw of her

 

true, but I'm more looking at sharp color contrasts.

 

Let me clarify this for you... the car on the outside left is definitely a neon.... the car on carrying the camera is definitely a tC. Rear drivers side window is tc. As the camera looks back at that window... look up... there is the trim for our 2nd moonroof... look down there is the cupholder design for our rear seats. This is definitely not a 4 door car with that rear c-shaped window. Even the panelling design is same shape as our tc's... car carrying camera is definitely a tC. The other car... headlights, srt4... taillights srt4... license plate layout, srt4... beginning of video, front side marker, srt4... horn, srt4... 4 door shape, definitely srt4. I am watching this full screen with clarification tools on a 21 inch sony monitor. The tc got the jump with its hissing sound of spray and then the srt4 caught up and took over.

 

Isn't it possible the cameraman hopped into the tC so he could film the Neon?

I still think the moonroof is a dead giveaway

 

hmm someones been watchin that Paris Hilton video harder then ShaunTC watched the tC vid...scary...

anyways this is old but last time i recall...the srt4 is a 4 door and the video was shot from a 2 door...

also, about 10 seconds into the vid, the driver's side seat belt comes out of a dark spot, where as the tC has that wierd swivel mounted seat belt dispenser...uh...thingy....but maybe thats just a shadow :?:
hope he took off that seatbelt sensor because he obviously isnt wearin that seatbelt...

if you look at the back however, the two shots match up together




also heres is a still image of that anonymous blue light on the dash
the image is a bit distorted by you can clearly see a cord coming from the light so yea its a radar detector or maybe something else that requires a power cord.


if you analyze the shots in the video...the car that the video was taken in is more than likely a tC

the car on the left is an srt4 (obviously since it comes off the srt forums!!!......no neon will ever sound or catch up like that...the guy states it is a scion tc in the next couple of replys...y would he lie? i dunno....yall sure are going a long way to try to prove that it isnt a tc....just accept it and let it be....now i dont know anything about what happened to the tc after the spray but if u own a tc then u know it is.....my roommate has an srt4.....i drive a tc....we know what our car is and im sure the rest of the tc owners agree

 

car w/camera sure looks like a tC when camera pans back to rear drivers side...tC has a pretty distinctive Hoffmeister kink...even though that's sort of an oxymoron now days.

I agree with what he said, that would have to be one custom tC for all the colors to be wrong, and I havn't seen one like that yet
