Default tC prone to dents?

I just bought my tC and I'm a little paranoid about parking it next to other cars. For now I'm parking at the back end of parking lots. I wanted to know if the side of the car is dent resistant like Saturn vehicles. If it's not, I find it strange that they don't have the dent guards like most cars. Any experience dents on their cars yet? No dents yet for me.

I plan on parking mine at end of lots, etc. Good exercise too....

I got my car on Friday and made my wife drive me around this weekend. We bought a new car last year and 2 weeks after we bought it someone kicked the car and made a dent almost 2 feet long. Not only that but there are numerous door dings and scratches all over the car and we just bought it last year.

NO!- only saturn has the polymer door panels - just get used to walking farther!!- any car is prone to dents- not just the tC

The keying culprits should be shot on sight with no questions asked! Not too harsh huh?

On my block, I'm afraid cuz burglars have been stocking the area and they broke into my 03 sentra, trunk only and messed up the keyhole .. but at school, i park in a nice parking garage complete with cameras n a nice spot that minimizes door things.. n at work .. parking is not an issue ..

unless im late... im gonna be parking in the back of the parking lot. some *ucking customers dont know how to open doors carefully. then of course florida drivers and they're inability to park between 2 parallel lines.... ugh.

hopefully my car wont get keyed or anything... plus, people with nicer cars park in the back so my car most likely wont be a target at work or school.

anyone have a diy for a protective force-field?

good luck with the tC the paint its cheap very thin, but i hear most scion paint is. mine is scratched twice witch the dealer is taking care of because they where there to begin with but ive learned its just a car, my way of thinking is it can be dirty, scratched, dented, aslong as its fast! it don't matter :D
