tC for tC :X
I'm thinking of trading my '06 auto BCP tC for a 5spd SW tC :X
i just can't get over the fact that SW is too nice D:, and i really want a stick tC
if i really do trade it in, how much do you guys think i would get for the tC?
-its completely stock
-damages: very minor pencil thing scratches (clear coat) on front left side bumper
windshield crack =T (size of a dime)
rims have a little curb rash
-Miles: 1600 (its like a month old)
So... what you guys think? D:

I think you would be smarter trading your 06 AUTO for an 06 5spd. Remember the auto added value to the car. You should be able to just swap it, and pay at most a couple hundred dollars.
Dealer gave me 14,500 for my 05 IIP with 20k miles on it. It had TRD Springs, Sway, Tint as the few money adding features.

I dont know for sure but you are taking a big loss trading in a car that is a month old. Think of all the money you just spent on taxes, fees and all that. Plus the depreciation of driving it off the lot. See if maybe the dealer will work with you and do a buy back or something since it has such low miles. But you do have bad rims, windshield and scratches.

Well, you should go find out.. I traded my 05 5sp BCP in for an 06 5sp S/C'd SW tC... I got 14000 for my BCP and it had 14000 miles on it.. It will all depend on your area, and what your dealers are willing to pay...

Im sure that you can take it and just for giggles ask for a trade in value. Just take it to a dealership you wouldnt probably buy from get a quote say I am sorry I dont wanna sell it and walk out. Cant hurt.

Like some others have already said, you would be taking a big loss. I had my bcp tc for alittle over 2 months and went in to trade it for the release series and they only wanted to give me alittle over 14gs for mine. Granted I had a lot of miles on it, but I would have been upside down as far as money goes. I personally would say to not do it, but do what you want we can't change your mind.

Upside down? Weird. I kept mine for a year, traded it in on an 06. Owed 13300, they gave me 14500, the car cost like 17,000. As far as I am concerned I was way ahead. Got a new tranny, engine, tires, paint (so I could get a clear bra done 1 mile on the car) etc.... it's all a matter of how you look at it.

Trading in your TC
It's funny this question is being asked again. My brother , whom works for Toyota just found out that TC's are approximatly worth 82% of it's new value. This is very high for a toyota. Beleive it or not, Most cars driven off the lot, except high end - Mercedies, BMW , Etc. value drops to 75%. Good luck on trading yours in. You will loose some.

I LOVE my SW tC. I'm one of the rarities with an AUTO, but I still love it. SW with grey/silver interior...perfect for me since my signature colors are red, black, silver and white.

same here, I would love to trade in my SSM for a SW. Im not really for the exterior mods anymore and I would love to do a camel leather interior on the tC to give it more of the luxury look. Cant really do it on a SSM but it would damn sure look good in a SW.
