Default TC Vs. Del Sol??

So I was heading home tonite and a Black Del Sol raced up against me and revved his FART CAN.. and threw back the clutch..We got on the Highway and he was All over the placed..I kept up pretty good, But I was scared to get another ticket, along with one I have to pay at the end of this month for speeding..

Anyways..Not really a RACE story but I was wondering who would won if we raced at a stop..?? I know the Del Sols have the VTEC 1.6L Engine..Not sure the HP But OMG I couldnt beleive it.. I Kept up good, but I was like ____..

So yea I was walking to my door and thinking DAMN I NEED A TURBO..

I cant wait for my T3 Turb..Or maybe a T25 if Im cheap enough..

Oh YES..DONT LEAVE STUPID COMMENTS..There just a Warning..

they del sol's had a few engine options.

1. 106hp 1.6L engine non-vtec
2. 127hp 1.6L engine vtec
3. 160hp 1.6L B16a vtec

my cousin have the 127hp del sol, its anything but fast.

Who cares? We'd still look better losing than them winning haha...

On another note, drive a tC with a 5speed well, and you can take any stock del sol.

About your boost thing... Stay away from a T25. It's WAY too small for a 2.4L engine. If you do a T28 it won't be as bad. My turbo of choice for our car at the moment is the "disco potato". AKA the GT28RS Ball-bearing turbo. Mega flow with virtually no lag. Designed specifically for 2-2.4L motors with support up to 400hp. Just perfect.

and I dont think so...

if he had the 160HP version you would be left behind soooo bad.... think about the weight between you 2.... .same horsepower and he is hella light then you?

most likely is was one of the other two versions...

Come on, theres no reason a del sol should be able to touch a tC. Its all in how you drive, learn your maximum profomance shift points, if your gonna try and race. Don't be givin my tC a bad name

hehe, b16a in a del sol... that would beat a tc by a long shot.
only reason i know, is cause i have a b16a swapped into my 97 civic hatchback.

160chp in a 2200lb car vs 160chp in a 2900lb car, its a no brainer.

and no, not all honda's are rice, alot are, but not ALL.

i mean, is my car rice?

http://batmangek.mazsports.com

im pushing about 175whp right now, but the car is getting tuned next friday.
i should be running mid to low 14's all day after the tune is done.

im looking into getting a tC this summer cause my car lacks a/c.
living in tucson with no a/c... is a bad idea!

so i plan on ridding of the civic this summer and possibly getting a tC.
i like the tC's very much, tons of mods will be available, and its toyotabased, very reliable. plus... its not stupid expensive.

so, hopefully i will be joining you guys later this summer.
