this thread still hasn't gone anywhere...

when tC tunerz dynos the stuff, they'll post it up. until then, we can only wait for their info, not speculate our own and scare someone off

tctunerz header witout cat back - + 4hp
cat back gain + 4hp

tctunerz header plus cat back- + 10-12 hp

tctunerz header plus cat back plus air fuel mixture fixed with custom chip - + 15 hp

:D

i duno just having fun thinking of stuff hehe

We are trying to get as much from the motor while keeping it carb legal or exempt and under warrantee. When the motor is opened up with a combined parts upgrade the tC should yield significant gains!

Weapon R Intake + Headers + Center Pipe + Dual Exhaust = G35 or Nissan 350z sound. Plus combined gains... who knows until dyno sheets can offer valid numbers.

The 2.4 is a lot different from 1.8 or 1.6 so we are going for the more beefier yet quite sound. Ever hear a Jetta Beefed up or M3?

Has the DC Sports Header been dyno'd?

about a few posts ago everyone was on Tuner's ___ about stupid petty ____. I can personally say, from experience, that he did good business with me. ____, the body kit fit like a glove as well, imagine that! It arrived when he mentioned. Not a single issue with Tuners. Nice doin business, someone out there is driving "my" Scion with your kit....asses

i saw the pics and the hp from the headers, and im impressed. The Tc is already a lil quick, but we didnt buy are cars for speed cause if we did we wouldnt have gotten a TC, second 3-4 hp is a good thing, and the headers look awsome, when i first saw them i told meself those were a easy 400$ item, and its only 290 or lessi dunno.

3-4 hp from headers. i know they have a inline cat and all but i mean my zx2 got like 15 hp and i have a inline cat. would it be an option to get the dc headers and then get a cat back made up with a cat inline behind the flex pipe and before the resonator?

Well for a couple more dollars the DC sport header can be bought and great gains will be felt. The only thing you actually paying for it shipping with the DC. Theres actually a site that has the DC for $299 shipped right now.
Although the car wont be legal. As some are saying, better gains are made.

I must say that Im VERY impressed with the WR header. The price is a crock, the WR needs to be offered in flat black to save people a few $100 bucks. What do you all think???
The onlything Im not pleased with is the fact WR dynoed open header. That right there is an easy 5-8whp gain over the stock exhaust, IMO. We all know that the most restrictive part on these car has to be the exhaust system. So those 12whp arent TRUE gains.

looks like the design of the headers are too "high-flowing" with very smooth curved exhaust runners.....the 2.4 2AZ needs backpressure to create HP and torque....i gurantee thats why we dont see that good of a gain with this header with the deleting of the in-line cat on the stock exhaust manifold.....even tho DC sports is also the same with a deleted in-line cat i believe there exhaust runner design was more curvy and varied which created a little more back pressure to pump out more HP.....

just my .02

I never liked DC Headers, but I had hope with this one. Now that I've seen the dynos... looks like I'm going to be waiting for someone else's headers......

Maybe I am being optimistic here. but a 5-8whp gain is pretty damn good. That means you are at least gaining 12 or more at the crank. Right?
