Maybe I am being optimistic here. but a 5-8whp gain is pretty damn good. That means you are at least gaining 12 or more at the crank. Right?
Look back at what I posted. The WR header was dynoed with the header only (no exhaust)
Im willing to bet that the WR header only dynos the same as the Tunerz maybe slightly more. With the exhaust taken off the car and running open header I think the tC could get an easy 5whp. So thats 5whp taken away from the 12whp that was proven running open header.
The WR seems to put down at least 7whp. Thats still a really nice gain over the Tunerz header.

Same with the DC sports. Im willing to bet also that it was dynoed with the DC exhaust. So those 10-12whp (as some claim, still no dyno sheets) is a combined horsepower with the DC header and cat-back.

Thats just me talkin though :?

I agree to both quotes.

We only did a baseline test with the car stock and headers. We are gathering part by part result then a combined to see the percentage of combined gain to individual gain.

about the weapon r header, when we were at the dyno with my car, we were swapping out the stock header to the WR header and the bung on the o2 sensor broke so we just plugged up the WR header and the CEL came on putting the car in safe mode, the car ran poorly compared to when i got my o2 sensor fixed it pulled ALOT better. also the WR header is just a prototype with poor welds, the airflow isnt maximized. there will be a better gain with the production model. i know it is expensive :T

**UPDATE**

Stock Scion tC= 113.4 Torque / 130.0 Power
With Header System= 138.9 Torque / 129.8 Power
With Header System and no Stock Intake Box= 141.2 Torque / 133.5 Power

The header system yeilds a .2 Power loss and 25.5 Torque gain.

No, I just realized i didnt make the dyno results clear.

This is the dyno from the stock tC with header.

This is the dyno from the stock tC with header and the stock tC with header and no stock intake box.

your initial run of 130 hp and 113 torque is obviosly wrong the sciontc is 160 163 tq at the flywheel , no way should it dyno only 113 tq to the wheels

Dyno was done by Solid Technology.
Their shop and dyno are in Albuquerque, New Mexico at 5200+ ft altitude, so remember there are effects from less oxygen density. These numbers are SAE corrected, which is supposed to compensate for the altitude change but are sometimes still off by some small amount.

They got 130hp and 141 and I have seen other stock tC dynos in the same hp area as well.

Our first Stock run was done on a different machine than the dyno results and we are waiting for free time to do a run on the original machine to get header results however we are planning to take the header off and run a stock run on the second machine.

There is no way a header can gain 25.5lb/ft of torque at the wheels on a car that only has 160lb/ft of torque at the flywheel stock from the factory. BS, but I do like the way it looks, but maybe tctunerz should put out more realistic specs if they want to give the impression that they are running a reputable company.

They performed the dyno and emailed us pictures after completion.

That has to be the silliest thing i have ever heard. No 4 cyl. normally aspirated car will make that much hp with a header and exhaust. If you manage to get a tc to make 50 hp with an exhaust and a header i'll eat both my shoes right in front of you.

What does no Stock Intake Box mean? That a CAI was put on or that it was run with nothing ?

Different dyno machine, altitude and weather all play a different roll in results. We are having the car dyno's again on the same machine stock, with header, with header and trd exhaust and a final one with header, trd exhaust and weapon r intake all on the same machine and same day.

I'd be more interrested in seeing a run with just the weapon R and then Weapon R and header than the other runs.

The upgraded intake seems to be a bigger gain than the TRD exhaust, so lets see the gains when added to a weapon R or other CAI, IE treat a car with CAI as the 'stock'
