Default Testing market for ETC Adjustable Throttle Controller

Hi Guys,

This is Panson representing TWP. Before I post anything, please let me know if I need to register for vendor status for this kind of gauging interest post.

I am testing water to see if ScionTC owners are interested in our Adjustable Electronic Throttle Controller.
I know a lot of ppl think this kind of electronic devices are snake oil. However, this is usually the part being overlooked because of the overage prices being asked from those Japanese name brands.

My company was one of the contracted manufacturers for these Japanese brands, and now we are trying to promote our own brand for the same quality but at a much affordable price compared to those name brand ones. (Our price will be half of the name brand $300-400 price range)

Actually, we have sold more than 50 kits at several other car forums, including Subaru Legacy (lgt.com), Mazda6 (6crew.com), Honda Fit (fitfreak.com)...etc So far we've got nothing but great reviews from all the customers.

Since our kit is originally designed for JDM makes and models, we are also in need of one USDM Scion tc tester to try out our kit. If everything works out fine, I would register for vendor status and offer the product to Scion TC Community.

I appreciate any comments and opinions.

Sincerely,
Panson
TWP

Welcome to the forums!

I would be interested if the price is right, I wouldn't mind being the tester. I have a degree in electronics, so that might help.

You will have to become a sponsor only if you are going to be selling them, I don't think gauging interest falls into that category ;-)

Gauging interest is fine.. But sponsorship is a must when you start selling something or you give a link to your website that sells your product and services..

This sounds interesting though, maybe you can post some performance gains from the vehicles mentioned..

Thanks for the info.

Our kit functions like Blitz electronic throttle controller but w/ more adjustable steps to serve different conditions from drag racing, drifting to hypermile cruising. And our kit is not a bolt-on that will make 20HP in 30 minutes. It's a kit that will manipulate the throttle regulator to response faster or slower at user's desire.

Here is a visual illustration on how our adjustable electronic throttle controller works

I've seen the blitz one, but was never able to find a price on it. Cool beans! So this will allow us for true 100% throttle opening.

Here is our product feature compared to Blitz's

  • 12 steps adjustable (Eco1-5, Normal, Sports 1-7) <--------> 3 steps
  • Reverse cancel wire included <--------> Not included (extra charge)
  • Wire connector included for easy plug-n-play installation <--------> Not included (extra charge)
  • 1 year product warranty for free replacement
  • Built-in safety bypass switch. No worry if hardware failure occurs.

We are planning to launch a group buy if ppl here are comfortable w/ group buy purchase.
The group buy price will start at $149.9 shipped to US lower 48 states.
Of course, the more ppl get in, the cheaper price bracket can be achieved on group buy.

However, we are still at the stage of testing. All the possible candidates, please pm us.

Tester will be selected before the end of this week!!!!
