Wheel locks don't do anything. If they want it, they'll get it

No problemo! Yeah I see what you mean - they just use a pin socket right into the wiggly groove of the locknuts and off they come. It would give the socket a bit of a workout however having to do 20 locknuts. Could go crazy and use a reverse thread on one stud per wheel - that would stop them HA HA HA!

Hey I got to drive a tC the other day - man talk about weird going from an xB to a tC and back to my xB. It was dark and rainy then I had to back up my xB up by friends narrow curved tree and shrub lined driveway in the dark and ya know them backup lights do Nothing through the dark tinted windows going backupwards up a really steep driveway.

I was showing my buddy (it has 52k on it) how to drive for better gas mileage with a Scangauge. To the store he drove and got about 26mpg. I drove back and got 36mpg . . . sort of blew him away.

Dude, sorry to hear it, but welcome to the stolen stock rims club bro. My stock wheels were stolen too.

I bought some better looking aftermarket rims + a 2-way alarm system with proximity and tilt with my insurance money. Hell, the 18's I put on look much better on my car than the stock wheels could every hope to look anyway.

So, after the 500 dollar deductible was taken off my insurance payout, I had plenty of cash to buy decent rims, tires, and an alarm. After thinking about it again, it wasn't as bad as it could have been.

By the way, I'm sure they use the blocks to keep the car from making noise when they move around with jacks quickly. Do yourself a HUGE favor and get a 2-way paging system with a tilt sensor, proximity, some wheel locks to stop newb thieves, and a nice bat. Be prepared to beat someone's b1tch as$ if you see them trying to jack your $hit.

They use the cinder blocks as jacks. They put them on your car then relieve your tires of air giving them le-way. Then they take your front or back tires off first, then pivot the car to take the other set off. Happened to my bro's car also. Sux big time.

lol nah, just figured it out when they jacked ours. Its easier then using jacks also if you think about it. You don't have to worry about lifting the jacks off and on the truck, and they don't hold finger prints, so you can just leave them there.

Maybe the cops should stake out the cinder block stores to see who is buying them . . . unless they steal the bocks too!

Hey, cops don't need to jack the car, they can do it without. That's what the Impound Lot is for.

that can be said about car alarms too. best thing about anti-theft device is it will stop the less motivated of criminals.

Thats why it's good to have your car lowered also, harder to get anything underneat to keep it lifted. Ever since I lowered my cars i've gotten very minimal or less attempts to steal my rims.

Go to wheelmax.com
Can somebody link me to the locks? I'm looking at wheelmax.com and I can't find them. (I know, I'm most lame.)

In the state of Florida you can shoot anyone trying to break into your car (a felony) and it is within your right to do so.

I don't think car alarms are any good... unless you have one that disables the ignition via a hidden method... that should work as far as people not actually stealing the vehicle. Consider we already have engine immobilizes, that point is rather moot.

Most scumbags these days just steal stuff like the OP's rims
